To all my readers: Sorry for the recent inactivity

Posted on February 11th, 2009 in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Recently I’ve been quite busy with life and haven’t had much time to find content to blog about or drop my EntreCard on other EntreCard users. Don’t worry, I’m still here and this blog still will be updated. More content will be coming soon.

To the EntreCard users who have dropped on my site, I will be catching up on my drops.

I has come to my attention that in some browsers, this blog showed the mobile version. This apparently was due to a bug or something. We will no longer have a mobile version of the site until this problem is fixed.

Please inform me of any bugs or issues with the site that you may find.

Thank you.

Food for thought (video)

Seventy-five percent of the apples sold in New York City come from the West Coast or overseas, even though the state produces far more apples than city residents consume, according to author Bill McKibben.

When food travels, it faces more risks such as spoilage and contamination, and creates a larger carbon footprint. And that’s just part of the problem. In the U.S. alone $48 billion worth of food is thrown away and we experience 76 million cases of food borne illnesses each year.

Building a smarter system can help deliver more safe food to all. There’s much we can do if we focus on this issue. Sometimes, bringing broad awareness to a serious problem requires a little humor.

Stand up and be yourself

It’s sad how many people try to be who they aren’t. Be yourself. If others don’t like it, tell them to fuck off. If your friends give you problems for being yourself, they aren’t your friends.

Be who you are. If you don’t know who you are, find out!
